Overview:
This collaboration with the Chicago Bears represents a full-circle moment where personal history, city pride, and creative practice intersect. I led the creative vision across product design, illustration, and visual direction, shaping a body of work that reflects both the legacy of the team and the cultural weight of Chicago. The collection was developed as an expression of identity, community, and storytelling, blending sport and art into pieces that feel lived in, intentional, and emotionally rooted rather than purely commercial.

Story:
This project was rooted in real fandom and real history. Growing up in Chicago, the Bears were always part of the environment, the energy, and the identity of the city. Working directly with the organization to create a collection was not about placing art on merchandise. It was about translating what the team and the city represent into visual language, storytelling, and product form. Every design choice was intentional, from illustration style to graphic placement to overall tone. The goal was to create pieces that felt like cultural artifacts, not just fan gear. This collaboration became a way to bridge sports and art, legacy and new expression, while staying true to the community that shaped me. It stands as a moment where personal history, professional work, and city pride all intersected in one body of work.

Overview:
This flyer was developed as a visual statement piece, using illustration, creative writing, and composition to communicate emotion, pride, and cultural identity. The design balances bold graphic language with softness and warmth, creating a piece that feels expressive, approachable, and collectible. The intent was to treat the flyer as an artwork in its own right, not as a promotional tool, allowing design and narrative to carry equal weight.

Story:
The flyer was built around the idea of love for place, love for team, and love for community. Hand-driven typography, character illustration, and a playful color palette were used to create a sense of joy and sincerity, while the copy leans into emotional clarity rather than marketing language. The goal was to capture the feeling of Chicago pride in a way that feels human, nostalgic, and visually memorable. Every design decision was made to support warmth, approachability, and cultural resonance, turning a simple announcement into a piece of storytelling.
